No More Excuses

Change is tough for us, it is emotionally challenging. it is not what we are used to doing, what we are used to saying, or who we are used to being.  That’s why it’s so hard to change.

Now, It is said that in order to make change a habit, you must do whatever it is for at least 21 days consecutively. It is also said that if we make a change in one area of our lives, (yes, that), it can theoretically affect change in all areas of our lives.

If you know you want to be better, you want to behave better or you want to look better but you can’t quite seem to make it happen on your own, why not ask God to be your strength, or to be your voice of reason, and then you do your part and begin to make an effort and don’t stop trying! If you fail,

No more excuses! You can do it!

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall be added”, (Righteous things, Godly blessings), nothing is too big, too small or too hard for God!  Just ask Him, He is able and He will change what you cannot change on your own.

If you believe, Be ready

As a teenager, I knew what I wanted, and did not want in a husband. I was raised in a very loving household, and I knew I wanted the type of love my “step father” had for my mother and her children. So when I gave my life to The Lord, I prayed for a husband who was just right for me! God answered that prayer, and gave me a man who understands Me, who truly cares about Me and My well being. It has made for a wonderful life together.

My advice to those of you still waiting, is to live life to the fullest as you wait for Mr. or Miss “right for you” to come along. Trust God and know, He has a plan for you and your life, especially when you are walking in obedience to His Word. His word says, “Every good and perfect gift comes from above” (James 1:17), and I know you will agree that a man or woman in your life who loves God, is certainly a gift! God wants the best for us! He wants us to prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers” (3 John 1:3). So handle your finances well, take care of your body, eat right, exercise, have fun, and always look as though you want to be found😊. It could happen anyplace, at anytime.
