With a new year looming, I thought I would revisit this post. Instead of making a New Years resolution, ask the Lord to help you start now making changes that will better you, your life and your relationships.
A change in one area of your life, (yes, that), can theoretically affect change in all areas of your life. Not only is change tough for some of us, it is emotionally challenging because, it’s not our “norm”, it’s not what we are used to doing, saying, or being. If you know you want to be better, do better, act better, look better, but you can’t quite seem to make it happen on your own, ask God to be your strength, and you begin to make an effort, it can lead to a better relationship with your spouse, your family, your friends, and coworkers.
No excuses! You can do it!
Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall be added”, (Righteous things, Godly blessings), nothing is too big, too small or too hard for God! Just ask Him, He is able and He will change what you cannot change on your own.
