Don’t dish it out, If you can’t take it

You may be married or in a relationship with someone who irritates you, someone who hurts your feelings to no end by the way they speak to you or the way in which they treat you in the presence of others and they don’t seem to see it as a problem, but you sure do!

Here is what has always worked for me, let it be known how it makes you feel when they do that thing which bothers you, (but never in the presence of others),  don’t just take it because  none of us are mind readers,  then pray for an appointed time to speak to them, a time when their heart and mind will be receptive concerning your pain or the you issue you have with them.  It’s important because hurt will eventually cause you to not care as much for them no matter how wonderful they may otherwise be.

On the other hand, IF you find yourself being that person who gets pleasure from making someone angry, sad or less than equal to you,  someone who has to get even by saying hurtful things, you should STOP now!!  because God, Karma or whatever you want to call it, will allow someone to come along in your life (work, church, school, other family) and do that very same thing to you.  You may not even realize it immediately as reaping that which you have sewn (pay backs),  but the Holy Spirit will make sure you see it eventually.    It’s a bitter pill to swallow but learn from it and correct that negative behavior.   This is Gods will for all who say they love Him, to do unto others as you would have them to do unto you.

Matthew 7:12
Therefore,  whatever you want men to do to you,  do also to them,  for this is the law and  the Prophets.

Proverbs 119:165
When a mans ways please the Lord,  He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
