It’s not time yet

My husband and I were married at the age 21. Yes! We were very young and as I have previously shared, he was in the military and because of that I had to learn quickly to be content with where the military sent us every 3 to 4 years, the housing they provided for our family and with the income my husband earned. It turned out to be a blessing in so many ways; we learned to live on a budget, to live within our means and we saved for our future never knowing in advance where we would live next but needed to be prepared. Although it was hard then, we are now reaping the benefits of our sacrifices, how we carried ourselves as Christians, and how we were faithful with “the little” God gave us all those (33) years ago.

Work towards the life you desire, don’t waste time being upset that you don’t have “it” or “them” yet. “To everything there is a time or a season” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Find a way to make yourself happy or content until you get there. It’s just not your time yet. “If you abide in Me (read daily) and My word abide in you (live in obedience to Gods Word), ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you” (John 15:7).
